What the heck is Lucid Awakening?

There’s something my original Sifu for Qi Gong told me nearly 13 years ago that’s been stuck in my brain since then.  He talked about how our dream state was really our awakened state and this life as we know it, was our dreamtime.

That led me to explore lucid dreaming for a number of years and a more intense focus on meditation as way to connect to that amazing zone that the subconscious reaches while we sleep.

But lately, it’s been clear to me that the time has come to connect to that infinite being that we all are, while we’re actually awake. The flip side of the lucid dreaming state.

The ability to connect to our infinite and incredibly powerful self while we experience the physical body in the present moment.

I’ve always known this was possible, but experiencing it right here right now is an added plus.

Instant creation.

No more karma, just a direct connection to infinity.

Maybe it sounds crazy still.

And maybe you’d like to join us for one of our weekend retreats where we’ll be exploring such questions…

Tomorrow is one such day so we’ll be incommunicato for the day.

We’re doing the retreat as a silent meditation for the day as most humans are still using their brains and trying to figure out things that have very few words and have even which really isn’t possible when you’re entering the quantum field of full lucid awakening.

The silence and peace that nature bestows on this special place makes it quite easy to slip into a day of exploring the inner workings of consciousness and the mind and the body and it can all come together as one.

That’s the good news.

The challenge is that the mind often still wants to work overtime and “figure things out”. Yet that’s often just not possible. The human brain is designed to be your supercomputer but it’s not able to comprehend the immensity of “infinity and beyond”…  It’s not able to comprehend the depth and breadth of our infinite consciousness. So giving it a task to do like watching the breath or focusing on one point has been a common meditation technique.

Lucid awakening takes these concepts one step further by integrating your infinite conscious self within the parameters of your limited body and simply “awakening” to that moment.  It’s already happening.

You already ARE that.

Lucid awakening is simply allowing yourself to see feel and explore those feelings through the eyes of your infinite self while noticing the finite self “doing and being”.

Pawns in the Game of Life; Cindy’s Story

Cindy’s Story ~ or pawns in the game of life.

I had been looking through Gumtree in the horses for sale section, even though I had no intention of getting a horse. I came across some local horses that were part Clydesdale (my favorite breed) and wrote down the number. I kept the number in my wallet for 3 months.

My Clydesdale mare had died a while ago and I missed the smell of a horse so badly. I have spent most of my life with horses and have been so happy because of this.

I eventually got around to calling the number, wouldn’t hurt to look I thought.

Probably already been sold anyway.

When I got there I was taken with the fillies but didn’t give the skinny ugly mare a decent look.

Sanity prevailed and I went home .

I had no facilities and I was too old to take on young, unhandled, big horses.

A month later I was asked to buy Cindy as the owner had hit a very rough spot in her life.

I did, so the skinny, ugly , horse came home with me.

We poured lots of food and care into Cindy and her health gradually improved.

She got bigger and bigger, and the foal inside her was enjoying the good food too..

He was well overdue but nature seemed to know he needed more nurture, ….

He arrived looking like a clydesdale, I was thrilled,!

He was a little bit weak in the legs but again, time, and more nutritious food into Cindy helped him grow, and grow,,….and grow.

I had always felt that Shiloh was supposed to be part of what our Vortex Healing Centre was morphing into, and so too the female peacock that arrived and stayed.

Cindy nourished Shiloh beautifully and he has grown into the most stunning looking horse that I have seen.

After 10 months I weaned him off Cindy’s milk and as he was getting bigger and stronger and starting to flex his muscles, he got gelded too.

Cindy, for the first time in 7 years was not pregnant or feeding,

She got her figure back, started to enjoy life again and looked for something that was missing, literally, she took herself out of the paddock, and went bush for a week.

She left Shiloh and looked for what was missing.

She has been a tough survivor, so I wasn;t worried about her.

She would come home when she was ready.

Well she didn’t, someone had seen her in a paddock and shut the gate, so whoever owned her could find her .

After a week I finally did, and bought her back home, but to a different paddock, with better fences.

I knew that I couldn’t cope with the two horses in different paddocks, but Cindy, being Cindy would just get out again.

After careful thought and many tears, I listed her on Gumtree, and had quite a few responses.

She behaved atrociously the first time someone looked at her, and left one of them very sore.

Hmmm I guess she doesn’t want to leave, but more were coming the next day. I warned them she may not be what they want.

When the second lot of people rang I knew this is where Cindy should go but the others rang first, hmmm what a dilemma, I tossed and turned all night, and woke up knowing something was up,

Cindy was a different horse, the one that I had grown very fond of, she behaved well and bonded immediately with the young girl who was to be her new owner.

She looked at me and said to my understanding, “this is what should have happened, I went looking for my new life as I knew our time was done, I gave you my son, as he has a role in your life, I am now free to find mine.”

She then turned and snuggled into the young girls arms and I knew she wanted this. She knew exactly what was going on and I do believe she chose these people for her fore ever home.

As I wipe my tears writing this, I figured that yes, I am just a Pawn in the game of Life!

 

What Is Enlightenment?

What is enlightenment today?

For so long, thousands of years actually, people believe enlightenment was something that was not really attainable. Only the buddha’s and Christ’s of this world could attain it.

Or it somehow accidentally or magically happened after decades of mediation.

But today, we know better.

The entire planet has grown and is vibrating at a much higher level than ever before and we have even more opportunities than ever before to connect with our highest, most infinite self.

And that to me is the essence of enlightenment.

I call it lucid awakening.

My sifu for qi gong always told me that our “real life” was in our dreams, when we can fly, jump over tall buildings in a single bound, breathe underwater, or travel to the far corners of the universe, and that this thing that we call being awake was actually our conscious mind in it’s limited state.

I’ve been reflecting on those thoughts for over 14 years now since I first heard them.

And the most recent 2 day silent meditation we did here, we completely changed up the formula. Instead of doing an exponential form of vipassanna meditation in 3 days instead of 10, we did what I now call 2 days of lucid awakening.

To me that means allowing the power and connectedness of your infinite self to fully engage and awaken your limited human self.

What?

Your limited human self?

Yes, we can all understand the physical limitations of our bodies, and appreciating those limitations more and more with every passing year, and we can understand the mental limitations of forgetting things or not understanding the immensity of what infinite means.

It’s clear that our physical bodies are only here temporarily.

But your infinite self is here for the joy ride to experience what limited feels like.

To experience what love feels like.

To experience what pain feels like.

It’s our choice to decide how intense we would like these experiences and which ones we’d like to focus on now.

And I tell you, it’s our choice to decide how often we choose to feel our unlimited infinite self and how often we choose to feel the weight and burden of the whole world on our shoulders.

It’s actually quite a simple process, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

And it all starts with the knowingness that it’s even possible.

That not only is it possible but it’s highly likely that you can connect more and more often to your infinite self and feel the lightness and extreme joy where you infinite self lives (which is and has always been within you.)

So, as much as I’ve been a world traveller from a young age and enjoy visiting many sacred places around the planet, the true essence of who we are and what we are can only be found when we go deep inside.

Just one moment can transform your life forever.

Just one awknowgement of our true nature as this infinite powerful, beautiful being who’s travelled through the illusion of time and space to be right here, right now.

For this life is the illusion, the dream state.

The illusion that we aren’t enough.

The illusion that we aren’t already enlightened.

The illusion that we can’t BE without “work being done us” or without some guru teaches us.

The massive energies that seem to flow at this time of year are heightened by the fact that Christmas and the holidays can an emotional time of year.

The energetic floodgates from the Universe are in full flow.

And, we’ve been kicking around some new ideas for the essences and we’re introducing a new essence for dogs called “PAWS: K9 Stress Relief Therapy”. This came about because Blaze our beautiful blue healer cross hates thunderstorms. It’s as tough as nails if he’s chasing a wallaby but come thunder and lightening he’s crazy scared.

And poor little Cleo, our miniature Shiatzu Malteze dog hates getting her hair cut (a perpetual job of trying to keep the buzzies at bay) and tremples the minute she sees scissors in my hand.

So we’ve been experimenting with ways to help our 4 legged friends just like the AWE helps our soul family.

I hope that this linked Flier inspires you to also have Gatherings to show appreciation to all Forests around Gaia. We are losing ancient Forests at an alarming rate, these are our carbon ‘factories’ and we are destroying what we need most to battle Climate Change.

I wonder how many of us actually think when we pick up a book, read a magazine/newspaper, write a letter on paper that a tree has been sacrificed for our needs?

It would be great if someone could invent a substitute for wood.
Trees are sentient beings that have feelings – check out ‘ Supernature by Lyall Watson, The Secret Life of Plants by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird, Communications With Nature by Michael Roads, Plants Are Like People by Jerry Baker, The Secret Powers of Plants by Brett Bolton, any of the Findhorn publications and one of the latest books to be released is The Hidden Life Of Trees by Peter Wahlleben. This excellent one is available from our local Foster Library.

Our Music For The Forest on the 19th in our Sth Gippsland Forest is intended to reach out and connect with all Forests on Gaia, it will be the microcosm of the macrocosm. We will be playing, singing and dancing our thanks to the trees that day.

Maybe you are wondering how we will do this? Did you know that Forests have WWW ie a world wide (underground) web called mycelium, this stretches out for miles, there is an enormous one in China that goes for hundreds of miles. Think of this when you nest go mushrooming.

Just sitting under a tree can be very peaceful so next time you do this, give the Tree a hug by way of thanks to all it gives us including all the animals, birds and insects that call the tree HOME.

Remembrance Day 11th Nov 2017

Seems like it was only yesterday that we were tuning in for the amazing energies coming through the 11/11 star gate last year!

It is happening again!

More dynamic energies are arriving that will help you to align more easily through the 11/11 gateway.

The energies this time are speaking directly to our crystalline bodies, even if they are still in the formation stage.

 To prepare for these energies we should be more aligned with the crystal we are becoming, and yes, we can program ourselves as we do our own crystals.

How do we do this? 

Just by listening, sending yourself love and happiness, and most importantly respect. 

 We are becoming a living breathing crystal, how cool is that ??Plenty of cleansing, being out under the full moon, and talking to your crystalline body.

Oh by the way, you can program your crystal to heal, something that I recommend that you do, especially during the 11/11 gateway.

​What can you do with your crazy monkey mind?

Have you ever felt like there were a million thoughts in your a head, a million things you had to do and all you wanted to do is make it all stop?

Make it all go away and be in that blissful state of not having to do BE or feel anything you didn’t want to do BE or feel?

Yet everytime you try to make all those thoughts go away, they just keep getting louder and louder and even more insistent that you pay attention to them.

Kind of like the screaming baby on an airplane.  If you focus on it, it gets louder and louder.

So how do you make the incessant stream of thoughts go away?

I get asked this question a lot.

And the answer is simple.

You don’t.

You have to stop trying to MAKE them go away and start accepting them for what they are.

Simply thoughts.

Your thoughts are NOT you.

And You are NOT your thoughts.

You are an incredible infinite being who came here to be a human for a while.  For some of us it’s a long while, for some of us, it’s only a short while.  But the older I get the more I realise just how brief our time here is no matter how many years show on a birth certificate.

So what can you do with all of those swirling ideas, thoughts, fears and inhibitions?

Accept that we all have them.

Accept that they are not you and they are simply thoughts.

You can choose to focus on them or you can choose to watch them fade away until the next thought pops up.  

You can choose to watch this cycle and observe it.

Notice it without going down the rabbit hole of following it down every path it tries to lead you down.

Mindfulness meditation is the fastest way I’ve found to remember that I am not my thoughts.

And that alone is often enough to pull me out of depressive thoughts because who wants to get stuck down that rabbit hole?

We all go there sometimes, but the issue is, we don’t have to stay there.

We can choose to remember who we truly are.

Perfectly imperfect beings who came here to love, laugh and enjoy being a human.

The next question most people ask me is “How can I find time of meditation? I’m too busy already.”

And yes, that is a massive problem in our society.  

Everyone’s busy.

Too busy.

Too busy to remember to love, laugh and enjoy being a human.

Too busy trying to be more productive.

Too busy to call.

Too busy to write (oh, not that outdated thing! Yes, handwriting is a lost art that is due for a revival.)

Kevin Kelley the famous author and futurist said “Productivity is for robots.”  And I ask you, are you acting like a robot in your own life?  Have you traded busy for happiness?

How do you stop all the insanity?

How do you stop all the swirling thoughts of every more things you need to do before you sleep?

Mindfulness can take just a moment.  

It’s about creating a moment where you focus exactly on what you want to focus on.  Perhaps it’s your breath.  Perhaps it’s a point in the distance as you gaze out into the ocean.  Perhaps it’s looking at a flickering candle flame to help you remember to breathe. Perhaps it’s a moment when you breathe in with intention and choose which thought you would like to focus on for that moment.

Just that moment.

One moment in time.

One moment to BE.
