Some tips to make your quarantine easier
I was away to the US and returned before the mandatory 14 day shelter in place policy but I could see it was important to the people around me to do that quarantine anyway, and as the massive spread has now been documented in the US.
1. Get outside air & sunshine!
I know that's not always possible for everyone but getting out in nature is really important. Even if you have to start growing some lettuce in your kitchen window. Get greenery around you.
2. Maintain or start your meditation daily practice.
If you've always thought about doing meditation or haven't really gotten into the rhythm yet, now is a great time to start. Just a few short breaths done in full awareness of everything happening around you is enough. This quiet time many of us have been given is actually a gift. Use it wisely!

3. Stick to your daily routine.
That means going to bed at the same time and getting up at the same time. Get showered. Get your morning routine in. Get exercise. Now that you're not commuting, get MORE exercise. Take a walk outside around the block (if you're allowed) before you sit down to work or study or learn something new.
4. Eliminate Netflix binging and Alcohol
Both netflix and alcohol are highly addictive but are dulling your senses. Read a book! Write in your journal. Start writing that book you've had going through your head.
Being in close quarters with roommates, and family can trigger a lot of buttons, but adding alcohol as fuel to the fire may not really be in your best interest at the moment. Test out what it feels like to experience life without the haze of alcohol clouding your judgement.
5. Start raising your consciousness
Stop worrying about everyone else for just a moment, and focus on you. How can you do to raise your vibration right now? What can you do to raise your awareness of your highest self here in your physical body right now?
What can you do to bring your highest self into the here and now and listen to wisdom of the infinite and unbounded presence?
